Ashanti Douglas, also known as Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York United States on the 13th of October, 1980. She is an actress and a performer from her native United States. Ashanti began her career as an teen, and was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. The same year she appeared in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? And Fat Joe's What's Lulv? She became the first female artist to take the top two spots on Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at number one, and What's Luv? second place. Hey Baby After the Club came out on the 16th of October to both radio and digital platforms. In addition, she appeared in the movies Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. Aitch, a British rapper, performed her track Rock wit U for Baby on 10 March 2022.
